Hourly to annual gross pay
Annual pay equals regular weekly hours multiplied by hourly rate, plus additional weekly overtime pay, multiplied by paid weeks. Monthly annual average equals annual pay divided by 12. Biweekly annual average equals annual pay divided by 26.
Reverse annual salary calculation
Equivalent hourly pay equals annual gross pay divided by hours worked per week and the number of paid working weeks per year.
Overtime calculation
Additional overtime is entered separately from regular working hours. Overtime earnings equal overtime hours × hourly rate × selected overtime multiplier. This does not determine legal eligibility.
Wage sources
For Florida, we use the FloridaCommerce minimum-wage information and the Florida constitutional schedule. For federal wage information, see the US Department of Labor.
